How do I generate my first trip?

Open Skir, sign in with Apple or Google, and on the chat screen type something like "4 days in Lisbon, easy pace, love food." Day 1 streams in within ~10 seconds and the rest of the plan finishes inside a minute.

How do I edit a day after it's generated?

Open the trip, tap the day you want to change, and use the chat box. Try "swap the rooftop bar for something kid-friendly" or "make Day 3 lighter — only one museum." Skir rewrites just what you asked about and leaves the rest alone.

Can I use Skir offline?

Yes — once a trip is generated, it's stored locally on your device. You can read it, view the day-by-day map, and follow walking routes without connectivity. Generating a new trip needs an internet connection.

Why are the prices "indicative"?

Because they're honest estimates, not bookings. Skir shows a typical price band so you can budget; we don't quote you a number we can't actually deliver. When you decide to book, the real price will come from the site or vendor you book through.

How do I book a hotel or flight?

You don't book inside Skir — by design. We give you a neighborhood + price band + search hints; you take that to whatever site you trust (Booking, Apple Maps, Google Hotels, the hotel's direct site, etc.). We don't take affiliate commissions, so we have no incentive to send you anywhere specific.

How do I cancel my subscription?

All subscriptions are processed by Apple. Cancel from Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on iOS. You'll keep access until the end of the current period. We can't cancel a subscription on your behalf — Apple controls that.

How do I get a refund?

Apple handles all refunds. Submit a request at support.apple.com/billing. If you have context that would help your case (e.g. the app didn't work for you), email us at support@skir.app and we'll send you a short statement to attach.

How do I delete my account?

In the app: Settings → Account → Delete account. We erase your trips, prompt history, and account record within 30 days, and remove them from rolling backups within the same window. See the Privacy Policy for full retention details.

The app crashed / something looks wrong.

Please email support@skir.app with: (1) what you were trying to do, (2) what happened, (3) device model and iOS version, (4) a screenshot if you have one. Crash reports also reach us automatically (without your trip content) so we may already be on it.

Can I use Skir on iPad or Mac?

Skir is built for iPhone today. It runs on iPad in iPhone-compatibility mode and on Apple Silicon Macs via the iPhone app, but we don't yet ship a native iPad/Mac layout. Native versions are on the roadmap.

Which iOS versions are supported?

iOS 17 and later. On iOS 26 you'll see the new Liquid Glass surfaces; on 17/18 we use a high-quality material fallback so the app looks right on every supported device.

What languages does Skir support?

The interface ships in English, Spanish, German, French, Portuguese (Brazil), and Japanese at launch. The AI can answer prompts and produce itineraries in many more languages — try writing your prompt in your own language.

Do you sell my data?

No. We don't sell or rent your data, we don't run advertising or tracking SDKs, and we don't share data with data brokers. The full list of service providers we use to run the app is in our Privacy Policy.
